1. Controller and contact
Interwebs Ltd. / Интеруебс ООД
ul. Budapeshta 38, 1202 Sofia, Bulgaria
Email: legaldisclosure@interwebs.ltd
2. Hosting, delivery and security
LanQua.eu is hosted through SiteGround. When a page or file is requested, the hosting infrastructure may process the IP address, requested URL, request time, browser and device information, referrer where supplied, and technical response or error data.
We use this information to deliver the website, maintain availability, investigate faults and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Hosting security measures can include automated traffic checks and robot verification. These may process request and browser information and use necessary security tokens or cookies.
3. Cookies and administrator access
Necessary cookies or similar technologies may support security, traffic verification and authorised WordPress administrator sessions. Login details are required only for people who administer the site, not for reading the learning guides.
The flashcard and prompt-building tool does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Its operation does not require a reader account.
4. Flashcard practice and AI prompts
Words, clues and prompt settings entered into the practice tool are processed in the browser’s page memory. The tool does not upload them to LanQua, save them in browser storage or send them to an AI provider. They are lost when the page is reloaded or closed. The copy button places the selected prompt on your device’s clipboard at your request.
If you choose to paste that prompt into a separate AI service, that provider processes it under its own terms and privacy notice. Avoid including confidential information or personal data about other people.
5. Email contact
If you contact us, we process your email address, the information you provide and correspondence metadata to respond and maintain the relevant business record. Interwebs Ltd. uses Google Workspace for business email.
The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for a contractual or pre-contractual enquiry and Article 6(1)(f) for other correspondence, based on our interest in handling enquiries and protecting our legal interests.
6. Recipients and international processing
Personal data may be accessible to authorised staff and contracted hosting, email, security or IT service providers where needed for the purposes above. Providers process data under appropriate contractual arrangements.
Some service-provider processing may occur outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
7. Retention
Technical data is retained for the period needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting and investigation of incidents. Correspondence is retained for the enquiry, any resulting business relationship, applicable legal retention duties or the establishment and defence of legal claims. Data is deleted or anonymised when those purposes no longer require it.
8. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Providing contact information is voluntary, but without it we may be unable to answer your enquiry.
We do not use the practice tool to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
9. Complaints
You may complain to a competent data protection authority, including the authority in your place of residence. The Bulgarian authority is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, Bulgaria. CPDP contact information.
10. External links and updates
Research papers and external tools have their own privacy practices when you visit them. Our new photographs and interface assets are delivered locally by this website. We update this notice when the site’s processing changes.
